Resin for castings (Shell mold resin)
Sand molds are used in the manufacturing process for precision castings. For the binding of such sand, phenolic resins are used. Our product lineup includes a wide range of types ready for use in various processes including a high strength type, low expansion type, fast-curing type, low tar type, low odor type, etc.
Resin-coated sand (RCS)
Sand molds, used in the manufacturing process for castings,are made using resin-coated sand(RCS) in which natural sand and artificial aggregates are covered with casting resins. Since we manufacture both RCS and casting resins,we can control the characteristics of both materials; and thereby we are able to realize customer needs on a higher dimension. As a new product, we produces and began to sell "Hexapass®", a new RCS product with low odor and low smoke, began production and sales in 2012.
