    Factory pipes are often used for chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid that would be dangerous if they came into contact with the human body.
    When such dangerous chemicals are carried through pipes laid above passageways or ceilings, there is a risk of workplace injuries or fatalities if a pipe should leak.
    There is also a risk of damage to apparatus if the fluid becomes dispersed into the equipment.

    The Water Pollution Control Law makes appropriate management of equipment mandatory in order to prevent the contamination of groundwater by chemicals that contain toxic substances.

    The dual structure of the pipe means that, even if there should be a leak, the fluid is prevented from spraying or leaking outside of the pipe.

    Plastic pipe whitens, yellows or blackens when used outdoors. This is a sign that it is being damaged by UV rays.
    If it is continued to be used in that state, it may be damaged by earthquakes or heat shock as a result of sudden impact or oscillation.

    The extent to which pipe has deteriorated can be investigated by shutting down the production line, disconnecting the pipe and carrying out a survey of deterioration in its physical properties (destructive testing). However, sometimes production lines cannot be shut down just to carry out a survey.

    A sample of the discolored pipe surface is scraped off so there is no need to shut down the line.
    We analyze the flake samples and estimate the loss of strength and flexibility caused by UV damage.

  • Cautions Regarding the Handling of AV Adhesive

    <Permissible amount of organic solvent etc. that may be ingested>

    W(g) = 2/5 x × A(m3)
    W = Amount of organic solvent etc. being used.
    A = The air volume of the workspace. Airspace that is more than 4 meters above the floor is not included. However, if the air volume is greater than 150 3, A shall be taken to be 150 m3
    Example: If the workspace air volume is 100 m3, the permissible amount of organic solvent is 40 g.

    Please be careful as a large amount of adhesive is required for large-bore pipes (300A or bigger).

  • AV Adhesive Use-by Date

    AV adhesive, if unopened and stored appropriately, is usable for roughly three years since its date of manufacture.
    The date of manufacture is shown on the bottom of the can. Example: 190311 means March 11, 2019
    However, do not use an adhesive if it lacks the distinctive irritant odor or if it has congealed.
