When replacing a standard butterfly valve, you need to drain off any fluid in the pipe. Many of our customers have commented on how fiddly that is.

There is no need to drain off the fluid since the pipe on the secondary side can be removed while the fluid is stopped by the valve.

Removing waste and foreign matter from pipes... Sediment Strainer (Type Y) or Bucket Strainer

Sometimes waste and foreign matter get into the fluid running through the pipes.
This may scratch or damage the valves and other kinds of equipment.

The strainer sieves out foreign matter and waste, preventing any trouble before it happens.

Bucket strainers are capable of removing more waste and foreign matter than Y-strainers, which means less frequent cleaning is needed. We can manufacture bucket strainers to match your requirements in terms of materials and shapes.

Preventing chemical leakage from pipes... AV Double Contained Pipe

Factory pipes are often used for chemicals such as hydrofluoric acid that would be dangerous if they came into contact with the human body.
When such dangerous chemicals are carried through pipes laid above passageways or ceilings, there is a risk of workplace injuries or fatalities if a pipe should leak.
There is also a risk of damage to apparatus if the fluid becomes dispersed into the equipment.

The Water Pollution Control Law makes appropriate management of equipment mandatory in order to prevent the contamination of groundwater by chemicals that contain toxic substances.
The leakage of chemicals from pipes must be prevented to protect the environment as well.

The dual structure of the pipe means that, even if there should be a leak, the fluid is prevented from spraying or leaking outside of the pipe.
Visual inspections are easy if the outer pipe is made transparent.
We can also manufacture transparent boxes to prevent spray from flanges and valves.

AV pipes and drain pans are also effective measures against chemical leaks.

Analysis of piping curvature... Our piping stress analysis service

Plastic pipes expand and contract with the heat. Without appropriate support, curvature and warping can sometimes occur due to temperature fluctuations caused by operating conditions and seasonal changes.
There is a risk that inappropriate support will generate concentrated stress in the pipes, leading to leaks and damage.

If you provide us with the drawings and operating conditions, we will pinpoint the spots where concentrated stress is likely to occur.

AV pipe installation work in areas where naked flames are prohibited... Peeling machine

When you want to peel the FRP layer from an AV pipe on site, there is a process that uses a gas burner. However, this standard AV pipe installation work cannot be done in areas where naked flames are prohibited.

No fire (no direct heat) is required so there is no problem in using it in areas where naked flames are prohibited.
In addition to being faster than peeling manually, its performance does not depend on the skill of the operator.

Low leaching installation methods... Fusion bonding

Places such as semiconductor factories have ultrapure water lines where the leaching of ingredients in the adhesive used for vinyl chloride can have a negative impact on production.

Fusion bonding is possible for ultrapure vinyl chloride, as well as materials such as PP and PVDF.
Adhesive ingredients are not leached into the fluid since no adhesive is used, so the system can start up smoothly. Once the pipe installation work has been completed.

Creating drawings of existing pipes, towers and tanks... 3D scanning service

When customers are planning to upgrade their factory plumbing, towers and tanks, they often find that the plumbing is different from how it was when the factory was first built, or that they do not actually have the drawings.

Automatic measurements with a 3D scanner make it possible to swiftly measure the dimensions of existing pipes.
The measurement data can be turned into 3D drawings. We offer the most appropriate design and installation solutions, based on the know-how we have built up during our many years of engineering experience, and will design and manufacture the most suitable piping, towers and tanks based on many years of experience in the manufacture of processed plastic products.
It is also possible to check for interference from other pipes and equipment.

Pipe that is resistant to hydrochloric acid... Chemical Pipe

When PVC pipe is used on a hydrochloric acid line, the acid can sometimes seep out of the pipe.

Compared to standard unplasticized vinyl chloride pipe, this is more resistant to hydrochloric acid and has greater resistance to permeation.

PP pipe is also highly resistant to hydrochloric acid.

Pipe that can withstand high temperature and high pressure environments... AV Pipe

In recent years, plants are imposing ever stricter requirements as they aim to boost production. In an increasing number of cases, highly corrosive chemicals are used at higher temperatures and under greater pressures.

The internal unplasticized vinyl chloride pipe has excellent chemical-resistance and the external FRP reinforcement enables long-term use at high pressures and high temperatures.
We have a line-up of five types of pipe to choose from, depending on the operating temperatures and pressures, and the type of chemicals.

Gaskets that can withstand sodium hypochlorite... Jiablock™ Gasket™

Gaskets are always inserted in pipe flange joints, but if a generic gasket is used it will be damaged by the sodium hypochlorite and it will leak.
If the corrosion worsens, there is a risk that the gasket will not only leak, its ingredients will also be leached and contaminate the line.

These gaskets suffer less damage from sodium hypochlorite and can maintain a reliable seal for longer than ordinary gaskets. (According to our survey)
Their construction means that they are not prone to leaks even when surface pressure is low, so they also have a buffer effect against thermal stress and pipe stress.

Valves deteriorate quickly on dangerous chemical lines, and lines subject to heavy corrosion or high temperatures, and replacing the valves is time-consuming.

Check for pipe deterioration... Step 1

You want to check how much deterioration there is in pipes that have been in use for a long time, but you don’t know where to start...

Simply enter the operating conditions of the pipe in the table on our website. You can leverage our years of experience to check the soundness of your pipe.

Pipe exposed to direct sunlight... UV Damage Diagnosis

Plastic pipe whitens, yellows or blackens when used outdoors. This is a sign that it is being damaged by UV rays.
If it is continued to be used in that state, it may be damaged by earthquakes or heat shock as a result of sudden impact or oscillation.

The extent to which pipe has deteriorated can be investigated by shutting down the production line, disconnecting the pipe and carrying out a survey of deterioration in its physical properties (destructive testing). However, sometimes production lines cannot be shut down just to carry out a survey.

A sample of the discolored pipe surface is scraped off so there is no need to shut down the line.
We analyze the flake samples and estimate the loss of strength and flexibility caused by UV damage.
An efficient way to proceed is to try this service first and then, if considerable damage is suspected, carry out a survey of the deterioration in the pipe’s physical properties.

Pipe wall thinning... Ultrasound Test

Vinyl chloride pipe wall thinning may occur on lines carrying chemicals that corrode vinyl chloride plastic, or in corner areas that are prone to turbulence.
When the pipe wall becomes thinner, this naturally decreases its pressure resistance. Continued use in that state will lead to damage and leaking.

The ultrasonic device checks the state of the pipe interior to measure the extent to which the pipe wall has thinned.
Regular checks can give an understanding of how fast the pipe wall is thinning, and help to schedule pipe replacement work.

Pipe Physical Deterioration Survey

Don’t you sometimes wonder about the extent to which pipe materials have deteriorated due to aging or chemical damage?

If you provide us with the pipe material you are using, we will examine the extent of actual damage to its physical properties.
Regular surveys will enable us to draw up data such as individual lifespan curves, and suggest the optimum time for upgrades.
We can also investigate the main causes of pipe damage and leaking.

AV adhesive, if unopened and stored appropriately, is usable for roughly three years since its date of manufacture.
The date of manufacture is shown on the bottom of the can. Example: 190311 means March 11, 2019
However, do not use an adhesive if it lacks the distinctive irritant odor or if it has congealed.
