The renovation of Aichi plant for the manufacture of phenolic resin for castings, completed in July, 2012 and has started operation in August, 2012. In this plant, while keeping the same production capacity, the automation of the manufacturing process was attained to produce high quality products with high production efficiency. The facility is also designed to curb the emission of greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide, to contribute to environmental safeguards.
Asahi Organic Chemicals will continue to pursue further reinforcement in its leading position further in this field.
