ASAHI YUKIZAI CORPORATION (address: Taito-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO : Kazuya Nakano) starts officially selling on-the-spot foaming urethane “BEXUR” having the world’s best-class heat insulation performance in April 2025.


1. Overview

Since April 2025, it has become compulsory for all the buildings to conform to the energy conservation standards. In addition, raising the standard for ZEH level is scheduled by 2030, and the demand for products with high heat insulation performance is expected to increase further in the near future.

To respond to such a demand, ASAHI YUKIZAI CORPORATION developed on-the-spot foaming urethane “BEXUR” having the world’s best-class heat insulation performance. It made sales to limited customers to verify on-the-spot effectiveness and workability since April 2024. Now that we have confirmed its efficacy, we officially start selling “BEXUR” in April 2025. “BEXUR” has achieved high heat insulation and space-saving with its exceptional heat insulation performance, contributing to offering a more spacious and more comfortable living space.           

 

2. Characteristics of “BEXUR

(1) High heat insulation performance

The heat insulation performance has improved by 24% compared with the current (*) sprayed rigid urethane foam.

  Thermal conductivity: 0.021W/(m/K) or less

  Thermal conductivity category for heat insulation material according to Japan Housing Finance Agency: equivalent to F rank

It is possible to secure a spacious and comfortable living space by ensuring space-saving due to improved heat insulation performance.

(*) Comparison with the sprayed rigid urethane foam Type A 1H

 

(2) Long-lasting heat insulation effect

It minimizes aging deterioration of heat insulation performance due to our unique technology.
