Introduction to the acid-hardening binder for self-hardening molding used for aluminum casting and casting of cast iron and cast steel
Overview
Acid-hardening binder for self-hardening molding is a binder for self-hardening molding that induces binding reaction, polymerization and hardening of the methylol group in the resin at an ambient temperature when aggregate (such as silica sand) is mixed with acid-hardening binder (furan resin, phenol furan resin and phenol resin) and a strong acid to produce binding force between sand particles. We are ready to offer the furan binder for self-hardening molding, presently the most extensively used in Japan, as well as a fast-hardening phenol furan binder for self-hardening molding that incorporates the phenol resin production technology, our main area of specialization.
Forms
- Liquid resins and hardening agents
Applications
- Aluminum casting
- Casting of cast iron and cast steel
- Applicable to various other casting methods
Features
- The acid-hardening binder for self-hardening molding is provided as part of the AV Lite HP Series. Including the Asahi no-bake method and the alkaline phenol ester hardening binder, we offer almost every kind of organic hardening binder so that foundries can choose appropriate models according to their working conditions.
