For the pressure receiving element, a Teflon, stainless steel, tantalum or other diaphragm with a high level of corrosion resistance has been adopted. The bourdon tube is filled with an antifreeze solution for food. Depending on the type of diaphragm, it is blocked from the indicator. This allows pressure measurements without an influx of the fluid subject to measurement in the bourdon tube.
There are two types of diaphragm-type pressure gauges that differ in the attachment element. One is the screw type and the other is the flange type.
